HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We represent the state of Maryland and ensure that hospitals are giving out quality of care to all patients regardless of race or where a hospital is located. We provide public health and quality care education to our clients, hospitals, to improve there services that patient receive. Internally, we educate employees regarding the current issues in healthcare and health disparities by having brown bag lunch seminars, video showings and Journal Clubs that address the most pressing public health issues. The job also supports employees to do community service, such as feeding the hungry and homeless, providing food to soup kitchens and gifts for the holidays, and other activities throughout the year.
