HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The Health Trust is working toward health equity with a focus on reducing health disparities. In addition to hosting a screening of Unnatural Causes to promote awareness of inequity, we have adopted the following strategies:
- Provide access to prevention, screening, and management of chronic diseases.
- Support linkages to healthcare coverage and services.
- Provide Oral health prevention, education, and treatment services.
- Support employee wellness for businesses with uninsured or underinsured employees.

We've purchased more than 50 copies of the Unnatural Causes DVD and distributed them with grants of up to $1500 to local organizations who also seek to raise awareness about health equity and inequities that exist in Silicon Valley. Next year we will bring together all of these local organizations in a "Health Equity Summit" to discuss ways to address health inequity.

ACTIVITIES WITH UNNATURAL CAUSES CAMPAIGN:
- Host a screening event featuring UNNATURAL CAUSES
- Engage in media outreach
- Use the series and materials in trainings or classes
