HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: HSC is a coalition of over 150 agencies, CBO, residents, achools, and churches that work on public health issues such as food access by running urban farms, affordable housing, job searches, computer literacy and access, health care access and health promotion, capacity building through community projects, research on minority health issues thru Community Based Participatory Research. MAPPING process was used its first year to access community concerns.
