HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The JCDH is responding to community issues relating to social-economic status, environmental quality and community health by procatively encouraging public and private partnership between public health system partners. We have established Health Disparity Task Forces to address health equity issues and conducted a community assessment to identify resources (internal and external) for seek ways to improve the quality of life on all levels in the county.
