HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The Health Department has for more than one and a half years had two employees in partnership with Prince George's County and Maryland state elected officials who have participated in the Place Matters Initiative. Twenty-two counties and two cities around the nation have been engaged in efforts to address policy issues regarding the social determinants of health in their communities to reduce health disparities. Baseline data collection and policy initiatives are both being developed.

- Use the series and materials in trainings or classes
- Post and share information about the series with members and constituents
